OAL PARS Bursary Application

Thank you for your interest in the Post-Apprenticeship Recognition Scheme (PARS) bursary offered by Occupational Awards Limited (OAL).

As Founding Partners of the Association of Apprentices (AoA), OAL is proud to be the first Awarding Organisation to provide free PARS accreditation to all apprentices who successfully complete their End-Point Assessment with us, from the 21st October 2024.

Upon approval of your OAL Bursary application, you will receive a discount code that grants you a 100% discount, allowing you to access your PARS at no cost.

The OAL bursary is designed to enable as many apprentices as possible to access PARS and enhance the recognition of apprenticeships, placing them on par with other qualifications. The Post-Apprenticeship Recognition Scheme (PARS) was developed by the Chartered Institute for Further Education (CIFE) in partnership with AoA.

How to apply

If you are successful, you will receive a voucher code which will give you a 100% discount on the application fee. You must complete your application and use this voucher code within 3 days of receipt. The code will expire and you may not be able to re-apply for this bursary.

Please remember before you apply for PARS you must:

  • Have your official apprenticeship completion certificate
  • Have the support of a referee – this can be your employer, training provider or an industry-linked sponsor
