Meet your Host: Miranda Adams, Senior Education Associate, Skills Builder.
Miranda began her career teaching Geography at a secondary school in East London. She has since moved into the skills and employability space, and now works in the Employers Team at Skills Builder. She supports businesses (Such as Lloyds Banking Group, Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP, and Kingston Council) to build the essential skills into their education outreach offer, recruitment processes, and staff development practices. This year, Miranda is also leading on Skills Builder’s virtual volunteering opportunities to connect young people across the UK with a range of employers, and is also seeking to become Skills Builder’s expert in the apprenticeships space (she is also undertaking an apprenticeship herself this year!).
